Are you insured? Can you send a COI?
Yes. Production insurance is standing, and a certificate of insurance naming your production is part of the booking paperwork. Ask for it in the first email and it travels with the confirmation, so your paperwork is done before you board.
What exactly is in the package?
Cinema camera with support, grip, lighting, and sound, all of it racked in the 1-ton van. It's the same package on every job, maintained by the person who operates it. Anything outside the standing package (jib, Steadicam, drone, teleprompter) gets arranged and quoted up front.
What counts as a shoot day?
Ten hours, portal to portal. That definition, along with every rate and term, lives on one rate card and is quoted the same to everyone; you'll have the card the same business day you write.
How far will you travel?
A 50-mile radius from downtown Atlanta is included in every rate. Past that, travel is billed at cost and the quote spells it out line by line before you commit. Most of the Southeast is within a day's drive of the van.
